Los Angeles, Calif. - March 18, 1998 - Glovia International LLC, a joint venture between Fujitsu and MDIS, today announced an agreement with systems integrator, Grant Thornton LLP, one of the world's largest accounting and management consulting firms. Under terms of the agreement, Grant Thornton will provide project management, implementation support and business performance enhancement services for Glovia's enterprise resource planning (ERP) clients located in the United States.

Grant Thornton works with clients from the initial stages of planning their technology investments by examining their business strategy and existing information system, to designing customized technology solutions or selecting packaged software, to implementing the new technology. Their goal is to help clients reduce costs, solve business problems and stay competitive by implementing new technologies such as Glovia.

"Grant Thornton is proud to offer Glovia's ERP solution to U.S.-based customers," said Peter Lang, partner at Grant Thornton. "Glovia's system offers core functionality for customers to customize and create an ERP system that will meet a company's specific needs. We have already signed contracts with five manufacturers to implement the Glovia ERP solution and to provide service and support. We anticipate this list will continue to grow."

"Grant Thornton is helping to broaden Glovia's customer reach around the United States by increasing access to our ERP solution, service and support," said Bill Engel, president, Glovia International.
