LOS ANGELES, Calif. - July 26, 1999 - Glovia International, Inc. today announced a reseller agreement with Sterling Commerce, Inc. (NYSE: SE). Under the terms of the partnership, Glovia will resell and implement Sterling Commerce's GENTRAN software as part of its manufacturing and services solution, glovia.com. This packaged solution will streamline business processes for discrete manufacturers, their customers and members of the supply chain.

Glovia will embed GENTRAN business process integration software into its manufacturing and services solution, enabling discrete manufacturers to extend their internal applications and processes to suppliers, customers, banks, governments and transportation companies via the Internet. The integration of these products will allow discrete manufacturers to execute business-critical functions, such as materials purchasing and order processing. As a result, Glovia will provide an integrated solution to expedite order fulfillment, increasing accuracy of orders and minimizing manual intervention. The solution will also reduce errors and allow manufacturers to link more easily to customers and suppliers.

"This relationship provides Sterling Commerce with an alternative channel to reach additional customers," said J. Brad Sharp, COO, Sterling Commerce. "As discrete manufacturers continue to automate their supply chains, we are helping them bridge the gap to integrate and extend their internal business applications to their commerce communities, regardless of technologies and standards being deployed."

"As a leading provider of manufacturing and services software for discrete manufacturers, Glovia> is focused on supplying our customers with advanced functionality and customer support," said Bill Engel, president, Glovia International. "By partnering with Sterling Commerce, we are integrating a proven solution with our advanced enterprise software that is implemented worldwide."
