Glovia Announces Powerhouse Executive Team for UK and Europe.
El Segundo, USA - August 31, 2000 - Following its highly successful acquisition by Fujitsu earlier this year, Glovia International, a leader in global enterprise software, has announced its new European Executive team. Glovia's new team is dedicated to consolidating and strengthening Glovia's position as a primary player in ERP and in establishing Glovia as the leader in next generation e-business solutions for the digital marketplace.
Heading the team is European Managing Director, Mike Thomas, formerly IT Director of tobacco giant Gallaher. His Finance Director is Simon Johnson whose experience of Glovia spans back to its former parent MDIS (now Northgate Information Solutions) where he was Financial Controller. He has been with the company for 8 years. Glovia's new European Marketing Director is Nigel Gale, who brings with him considerable experience having worked with PROIV for some 13 years. Driving UK sales will be Sales Director David Alvey who joins from American Software and Ben van Eck is General Manager for Continental Europe, operating from Glovia's Eindoven office in The Netherlands. Ben also has extensive experience of Glovia developed over many years.
