EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - September 6, 2000 - Glovia International, the leading provider of enterprise business applications and next generation e-business solutions for the digital marketplace, today announced that Toshihiro Nishimura and Michael Hallman have been appointed to the company's board of directors.

Nishimura, a 27-year Fujitsu veteran, is group executive vice president of its Systems Integration Group, where he manages 40,000 employees and leads a division that generates about $4 billion in revenue annually. In addition, he is a board member of Fujitsu, Glovia's parent corporation.

Hallman is the founder and president of The Hallman Group, a management consulting firm focused on marketing, sales, business development and strategic planning for the information systems industry. He served as president and chief operating officer of Microsoft Corp. from 1990-92.

"We're extremely fortunate to have Toshihiro and Michael join our board," said Matt O'Malley, president and CEO of Glovia. "Toshihiro brings 27 years of experience as a systems integration expert, and Michael has an impressive body of experience in marketing, sales and business development for global technology companies. These gentlemen have already contributed significantly to our company. They will no doubt continue to be invaluable assets to Glovia as we drive forward our vision of providing solutions that enable corporations to compete in the global business-to-business digital economy."

Nishimura joined Fujitsu Ltd. in 1973. In the Systems Integration Group, he advanced from general manager systems engineering to group deputy general manager, and then to group vice president before taking his current post. He also played a key role in Fujitsu's decision to acquire Glovia earlier this year.

Before joining Microsoft, Hallman served as vice president of The Boeing Co. and president of Boeing Computer Services from 1987-90. Prior to that, he worked for IBM for 20 years in various sales and marketing executive positions. He serves on the board of directors of Keytronics Inc., Intuit Inc., Timeline Inc. and Network Appliance Inc.
