Glovia Announces Premier Sales Team to Drive New UK Strategy.
October 9, 2000 - Following the announcement of its new European Executive Board, Glovia International, a leader in global enterprise software, has announced the appointment of three specialist account managers to forge ahead with its new sales strategy.
All three specialists have extensive backgrounds in ERP solution selling so are well placed to drive Glovia's position as a primary player in the ERP market. The team will also focus on positioning Glovia within target vertical sectors, as a leader in next generation e-business solutions for the digital marketplace.
Reporting to European Sales Director, David Alvey, the new appointments are Russell Kirby, Kevin Magee and Stuart Southern. Russell has joined with a remit to develop new business in two of Glovia's vertical sectors, automotive and capital equipment, as well as undertaking a strategic account management role. Formerly, Russell was sales and marketing director at a 3.5 million Oxford based enterprise network and ERP business. Prior to that he was sales manager of Panacea where he sold ERP solutions to small and medium enterprises.
Kevin Magee joined Glovia from Interchange Group where he was business manager selling CRM solutions. Prior to that Kevin spent 18 years as an RAF navigator. At Glovia he will be further developing Glovia's vertical channel sales, focusing primarily on the telecoms industry.
Stuart Southern returns to Glovia for a second time after a brief spell to focus on ERP sales within the process arena for manufacturing systems. His background includes significant experience with companies such as Ross Systems and Largotim. Stuart will develop new business opportunities and grow Glovia's business through its existing client base.
