Leading Pump System Manufacturer Selects Glovia to Integrate Disparate Systems and Increase Market Competitiveness

Glovia's Integrated ERP Solution to Lower Costs, Shorten Lead Times and Improve Customer Service

El Segundo, Calif., December 14, 2005 - Glovia International, a subsidiary of Fujitsu and a leading provider of extended ERP solutions for engineer-to-order and high volume manufacturers, announced today that Marflex has selected Glovia's extended ERP solution, glovia.com. Marflex, a leading manufacturer of custom electric driven pump systems for ships and off-shore platforms, plans to replace their multiple legacy systems with glovia.com and standardize the company onto a single information system.

Glovia's ETO/MTO (engineer/make-to-order) functionality is especially attractive to Marflex as the companies' products are manufactured in-house adhering to specific customer requirements. glovia.com will enable Marflex to quote, sell and deliver their complex, uniquely configured products easily via a web-based configurator to help reduce sales costs, shorten sales cycle times and increase order accuracy.

Customer service is also a supremely important issue to Marflex. With Glovia, Marflex will have a web-based solution for managing the flow of information between themselves and their customers and prospects. Employees will have immediate and accurate communication of issues requiring expedient attention and be able to elevate these issues to avoid any delay while reducing data entry errors and increasing overall customer service levels.

"We are very pleased the vast majority of the functionality we require is available in the standard Glovia offering as this will help facilitate a smooth and timely implementation," states, Hugo Keemink, Project Leader for Marflex. "The ultimate reason for moving to Glovia's integrated ERP solution is to improve our operations by offering higher quality products to our customers at a lower cost. The improved processes will keep our costs to manufacture our products roughly the same thus increasing our market competitiveness."

Marflex has started the implementation process and plans to implement the solution in two phases. The first phase is scheduled to go live this spring with the second phase going live in the fall of 2006. The company also has additional locations in Singapore and Russia that are planned to eventually go live on glovia.com as well.

"We are very excited to have Marflex as a customer. We feel our solution is an excellent fit for ETO/MTO manufactures, like Marflex. It enables management of all aspects of projects including coordinating tasks, resources and activities all while tightly controlling costs," states Martin Soet, Sales & Marketing Director for Glovia International. "With our strong support throughout the implementation process and beyond, we believe Marflex will benefit from their investment in Glovia for many years to come."
