E0811 Publisher - DocsOnline
Students learn how to configure and manage DocsOnline. DocsOnline is a central document repository and directory that maintains documents created using ePublish. Through a web browser, over intranet networks or the Internet, documents are easily tracked, retrieved, displayed and delivered by staff, management, suppliers and customers anytime, in read-only formats such as PDF, HTML, TIFF, or JPEG.

ePublish transforms standard glovia.com reports into customized documents, reports and email. Students learn how to develop ePublish projects — including conditional logic — to route glovia.com output to multiple users and business partners in a variety of media formats.

E0405 Cognos - Impromptu Administration
Participants learn how to set up and maintain Impromptu catalogs for the glovia.com database. Focus is on accessing databases, catalog creation, catalog maintenance, distributing Impromptu catalogs, protecting data, and changing advanced user environment defaults.

E0407 Cognos - Impromptu Report Building
Participants learn how to use Impromptu to produce and/or modify reports created from the glovia.com database. Focus is on changing basic user environment defaults; building reports using features such as sorting, filtering, calculations, and formatting; using frames; generating snapshots; and creating new and/or modifying existing report templates.

E0438 glovia.com Financials - Level 1
This hands-on course introduces core financial features of glovia.com. Students examine the financial environment: the general ledger, the chart of accounts, journal entry posting options and financial calendars. They define customer and vendor records, setup AR and AP controls and process AR collections and AP payments. Month-end closes and year-end closes are included.

Introduction to glovia.com

E0309 Introduction to glovia.com
This course provides a broad introduction to glovia.com and is particularly appropriate for new users. Participants create their own item, and then use it for sales orders, forecasting, planning, manufacturing, purchasing, pick/ pack, and shipping. They also process AP and AR invoices and view the resulting journal entries in the general ledger. This course is a recommended prerequisite for all glovia.com application courses.

This hands-on course introduces the system administrator to the range of technologies required to support the glovia.com environment, including OS tools and configuration, PROIV utilities, user and printer setup, security, backup/recovery, and Oracle storage management.

E0425 PL/SQL Using glovia.com - Introduction
This five-day class covers SQL and PL/SQL language fundamentals. The glovia.com code is referenced throughout the course. Hands-on exercises help participants understand the strengths of PROIV SuperLayer and PL/SQL and the situations where one language is preferred over the other.
