Agenda Highlights

¤ Keynote Speaker
Sam Swoyer, with the TBM Consulting Group, is a renowned consultant and trainer. In his keynote speech, Sam will present Lean Practices, showing you how you can improve your competitive advantage by increasing production, efficiencies, and effectiveness while reducing waste and cost.

¤ glovia.com and Lean Manufacturing
This session, presented by Glovia's Jim Errington, will help you explore the hitherto uncharted depths of glovia.com and discover the hidden jewels that make running a lean shop second nature to a manufacturing customer using glovia.com.

¤ Supply Chain Lean Simulation Training Workshop
The purpose of this training is to demonstrate various Lean Supply Chain Management techniques, concepts and principles using a hands-on, working module that simulates the functionality of a multi-tiered supply network. These principles include just-in-time supply, lean production, network optimization, third party logistics (3PL), waste identification and reduction, and value stream management. At the completion of this workshop, participants will have acquired a general overview of: supply chain management, extended supply chain value stream, push, pull, and optimized supply chain concepts, continuous improvement techniques, and network waste identification.

¤ Global High Volume Manufacturing - Managing Your Supply Chain
Presented by Supply Chain expert Jim Errington with Glovia, you will find out what has been happening to your industry's supply chain and see what glovia.com can now do to help you bring it back under control and even use the power of that supply chain to make improvements towards your company's profitability.

¤ Glovia International Presentations
This presentation will provide the audience with a Glovia update, including company and product plans. The vision and strategies of how Glovia is moving forward will be highlighted along with an overview of the Glovia offerings. This overview will provide an important platform in selecting your remaining key interests while you are here at the conference.

¤ Differences From Your Version to 7
Come and see glovia.com through the ages and find out what extensions to existing functionality, or completely new modules, will do to help you improve your utilization of the software as well as allow you to expand its use into areas that you didn't think possible.

¤ Collaboration & Technology SIG Launch Meeting
Users have suggested that there may be interest in forming a Special Interest Group to discuss technology issues in glovia.com, with particular emphasis on XML, Messaging and Collaboration technologies. This meeting is to ascertain the level of interest, to discuss a Technology SIG's mission and to arrange for the next steps.

¤ Customer Presentations
Successful glovia.com users will discuss their strategies across all aspects of the enterprise including manufacturing, distribution, finance, projects, planning, e-business, reporting, security, collaboration, integration, and more.

¤ Talkback Live with Membership & Talkback Live with Glovia
These are dynamic open discussions, one with the User Group membership and the other with Glovia. The Membership forum will include an 'open mic' that will provide users with the opportunity to ask questions, make comments, and solicit advise from other Glovia customers. Questions will be formulated and presented to Glovia for their comments during the 'Talkback Live with Glovia' session, the ideal situation to have an open, dynamic discussion with Glovia staff members — a great success in 2003.

See you there!
