Product Suite Expanded With the Addition of Customer Portal, Supplier Portal, and eKanban


As part of continually improving our extended ERP solution, glovia.com, we have recently added the following modules to our product suite:

glovia.com Customer Portal

This module increases customer satisfaction and reduces transaction costs through the use of the Internet. The Customer Portal makes it as easy as possible for customers to do business while minimizing service-related costs, by providing manufacturers' customers with 24/7 direct access to sales quote, sales order, and order status functionality and information via the Internet. The solution also supports advanced inventory replenishment strategies, such as consigned inventory, through the same easy-to-use browser interface.

Customer Portal seamlessly integrates with other glovia.com modules enabling manufacturers to:

  • Convert sales quotes to sales orders instantly, with order numbers generated automatically
  • Populate forms with data from customer master files to save time and eliminate data entry errors
  • Generate sales quote numbers in real-time, not from batch updates or data transfers
  • Create master customer records instantly when prospects convert quotes to orders
  • Support product and order configurations including the ability to configure a required end-item while placing an order
  • Access eCRM software for opportunity and contact tracking and management

glovia.com Supplier Portal

This module helps manufacturers and their suppliers overcome disconnected supply chain challenges to successfully meet end-customer demand. Supplier Portal is a real-time, browser-based solution that enables manufacturers to improve the level of collaboration, information visibility, and communication with suppliers. The solution provides both manufacturers and suppliers with a unified, real-time view of critical order and materials management activities to ensure their entire extended supply chain is working from the most current information possible. The solution also supports the control of supplier consigned inventory with complete visibility for both the supplier and manufacturer of current and projected inventory counts.

Supplier Portal helps manufacturers and their suppliers streamline shipping and materials receipts in a number of ways:

  • Eliminates discrepancies between ordered and received items
  • Prevents early shipments from suppliers
  • Reduces excess inventory levels
  • Eliminates unexpected receipts, such as late, partial, and unknown shipments
  • Accelerates material receipt process
  • Eliminates material receipt data entry errors

glovia.com eKanban

This module provides manufacturers with automatic demand-driven replenishment of materials and inventory to help reduce inventories and eliminate shortages. Electronic Kanban can be executed as an integral part of the supply chain as it provides the ability to monitor consigned and line side inventory levels and establish triggers to automatically replenish inventory when a predefined minimum by location for each inventory level has been reached. The process can also be expanded to include open communication with a manufacturer's customers and suppliers.
