Connections 2005

The Glovia International User Group concluded a well attended; value packed annual 'Connections' conference on May 26, 2005. The robust agenda included multiple tracks, with operational case studies, technical presentations, application solutions, international presentations, round-table discussions, special interest group, personal improvement classes, and much more.

Each year the conference facilitates the ability for Glovia customers around the world to network with other customers; fosters an environment for Glovia customers to come together annually with Glovia and Fujitsu professionals, business partners, and industry experts to attend workshops, forums, and training sessions, providing benefits and enhancements to their daily operations. The event's emphasis on networking was of particular importance to glovia.com users who continue to connect with one another to find innovative ways to succeed and optimize the value they receive from the Glovia solutions.

The next Glovia International User Group conference will be held at Sheraton Music City in Nashville, Tennessee from May 21, through May 25, 2006. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Keynote Speaker - Desi Williamson

• I thought this was one of the most inspiring speakers I have heard. Very nice presentation
• Desi was very "energizing" and challenged us to go beyond and make a difference. His focus on service was very good.

Glovia Company Presentations

• Very good overview of current projects and strategies, as well as 2004 performance.
• Thanks - a very humorous yet graphic explanation of the new product. It certainly provided incites and has us already thinking of how it would / will apply to our business.
• The demand driven supply chain demo provided the insight needed in a clever, humorous way. We will look very closely at this functionality to see if it adds value to our process.
• The new product demo was excellent - in past years I've seen others try to do similar "shows" / demos at conferences. In comparison, was really well done - demonstrated new Glovia capabilities and in an interesting and fun format.
• A very good presentation! Opens the "lean" approach very broadly to the entire enterprise instead of just within the four walls of the manufacturing plant.
• Extremely valuable. We need additional training on some of the capabilities our current package contains. Sometimes we only lock on to the things we use often. This segment taught me that we need to continue to try new things.
