    Service Functionality ERP White Paper

Identify, plan, and manage Service from the origination of a customer order through all continuous stages of the product.

    dwlaod

This paper discusses the various functions within Glovia that addresses service as an entity. The paper takes on the subject in three contexts, which address the Service item itself as well as the after-market provision of those services:

    • The Service item entity, including a short review of the applications within GLOVIA G2 that allow for Service Item planning and execution.
    • Existing applications specifically designed to address the after-market service functions of an organization.
    • Planned extensions of the eService (Customer Self Service) Application that are still in the conceptual stage but are quickly being refined.

Any organization that supplies a product is aware of the concept of service. That is, if your organization provides a product to the market, your organization – or someone designated by your organization – is ultimately responsible for supporting that product. This is particularly relevant to manufacturing organizations.
